Bruno Associates Secures $525 for the Borough of North Arlington’s Food, Tire and Public Spaces Bonus Recycling Grant
Funded by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP)
June 11, 2015– Bruno Associates requested funding from the NJDEP’s Food, Tire and Public Spaces Bonus Recycling Grant Program and was awarded $525 for the Borough of North Arlington. North Arlington with these awarded funds will implement recycling containers in specifically three locations that desperately need it. The first location is Borough Hall, a structure that withholds many business meetings, public meetings and reports to municipal court sessions. The second location is Resignola Park which needs the recycling containers to maintain the cleanliness of the park and the environment surrounding it. The last location the received funds will go towards is on Price Path, alongside Riverview Avenue. The Borough of North Arlington predicts with these recycling containers in these high traffic areas there will be approximately six tons of recycled material accumulated annually.
