Bruno Associates Secures $101,383 for the Hudson County Consolidation Plan

September 1, 2015– Bruno Associates aided in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) plans in approving the Hudson County Consolidation Plan for the 2015 fiscal year. This plan includes the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) grant program, which focuses on projects that will renovate neighborhoods, broaden economic opportunities for low-to-moderate income individuals by providing facilities and services that address the needs of the undeserved population. The first awarded project by Hudson County is for the Secaucus Senior Center renovations with an award of $75,500. The second project was awarded to the Secaucus Youth Alliance totaling $25,883. The Youth Alliance award will be distributed appropriately to both the Exceptional People of Secaucus Program and the May 2015 Reprogramming of FY 2011 funds to the Exceptional People of Secaucus Program.
