Grants Recently funded for Belleville Public Schools
Bruno Associates Inc. was notified that the following grants were recently awarded to Belleville Public Schools:
ING Unsung Heroes – ING Unsung Heroes began in 1995 as a way for ING U.S. to demonstrate its commitment to the education community. Grants are given to K-12 educators utilizing new teaching methods and techniques that improve learning.
Belleville High School was awarded $2,000 to support a new robotics enrichment program that seeks to enhance student learning in the STEM content areas combined with sustainability.
Instructional Improvement System – The Instructional Improvement System (IIS) Grant Program is a component of the Race to the Top Phase 3 (RTTT3) Initiative. This limited competitive grant program is intended to help support the implementation and integration of the state level IIS platform at the LEA and school level. The state level IIS platform is designed to support all LEAs in accessing Common Core State Standards (CCSS) aligned model curricula, formative assessments, student level data reports and more.
Belleville Public Schools were awarded $150,000 to support the launch and implementation of the IIS in schools that are part of eligible “Participating” or “Involved” LEAs.
